It’s happened again.
The visitors come and joy is had. The visitors leave and I feel blue.
This gets easier, right? RIGHT?!
Damn.

maybe you should call liz.
would it help if I reminded you I am coming to visit in exactly two weeks?
ug, I know exactly how you feel! I would like to tell you it gets better, but it really doesn’t. You just find more ways to deal with it…the dancing isn’t helping?
Yes, Tiff, it does get easier. Not to the point where you don’t feel it at all when they go, but definitely easier. At least to the point where it’s not so sad. I promise.
only prescription for this. more visitors.
oh yes, and more cowbell.
Um, no so easy. Ever. But not quite as sad . . . after about nine years
yeah, it sucks. in fact, i am feeling sad for you. so, so sorry.
I agree it stinks! It doesn’t ever really get better but it does get a little easier to handle.
I wish I could say it gets better, but (in my experience, at least), it doesn’t. We’ve been down here for over five years and I still get upset after visitors leave. Sending hugs your way!
I will come and visit you and you will be ecstatic to the point of euphoria when I leave. You will never again feel badly when visitors go home. I have even had folks give me money to leave early. I just tell them I would leave early but I don’t have the $75.00 ticket change fee required by most airlines. As an added bonus, you can pocket the 75 bucks if you book on Southwest. They don’t have change fees.
booking my ticket now.
won’t that be funny when i show up on your doorstep? hahaha. (warming up the water to boil your bunny.)
