Quick tidbits from a tag

October 26th, 2008

Ten years ago…

I was married to Ryan and mama to four-month-old Christian. We were living in the Grant Street apartments in Midvale, UT. We were very bad at keeping the house clean and the dishes done, but we were real good at loving each other. Up until five minutes before Christian was born, I thought I was completely ready to have a baby. Five days after he was born, I wanted to find that girl who was so ready to have him and smack her upside the head. The early days of motherhood were very overwhelming.

Five things on my to-do list

1. Begin the Valentine catalog
2. Put away the laundry (which is ALWAYS on my to-do list)
3. Vacuum the stairs
4. Begin Christmas shopping
5. Take the library books back

Five snacks I enjoy right now

1. Pumpkin pie
2. Pumpkin cookies
3. Pumpkin whip cream frozen in between graham crackers
4. Pumpkin ice cream
5. Popcorn flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans from my mom

Five things I would do if I was a millionaire

1. Shop on the clothing racks in the FRONT of the store, instead of heading straight to the back.
2. Fly all of my family members out to visit us once a year.
3. Hire a chef to cook us delicious, low-fat meals since I can only make mediocre low-fat meals.
4. Travel, travel, travel.
5. Give to worthy causes.

Five places I’ve lived

1. Sandy, UT
2. Provo, UT
3. Midvale, UT
4. West Jordan, UT
5. Undisclosed Location, East Coast

Five jobs I’ve had

1. Bookseller
2. Bookkeeper
3. Community education teacher
4. Satellite Network Tech
5. Copywriter

Did you know that bookkeeper is the only word in the English language that has double letters three times in a row? (Unless you count bookkeeping, but you know, same thing.) Thought you might like to know.
