I’m not sure, but he may have just solved the energy crisis

September 23rd, 2008

I got to visit Max’s classroom for Back to School night, and among my tour of the colorful space was the bulletin board with all of the kids’ original paintings. Each painting had a typed blurb below it with the exact words they used to describe it.

Here is Max’s:

Max's Painting II

I could just hear him, except that she should have spelled “things” as “sings” because that’s how he says it.

since my retarded computer won’t let me view that, i’m gonna go with a ‘picasso–the late years’ theme. if the kid is the offspring of a hi-profile university professor and one of the best writers in the country, he is pretty much destined for genius.

This painting grows on you. I really like it. And I’m beginning to understand it. His description is right on. It should at least be on a postage stamp.
