The Packers did a horrible job last week. Lots of unmarked boxes. Stuff packed in the oddest of places.
Which gave the Raiders quite a chore. “Where are the lamps?” asked the Raiders. “Where are the satellite receivers?” they cried.
The Chargers have been amazingly successful, especially with the purchase of several floor lamps because—get this—none of the bedrooms have overhead lighting.
The Rams had a surprising night on Friday—one TV set launched off the bed and rammed into the freshly painted wall. Oops.
The Redskins made quite a showing last night—26 mosquito bites on my legs after a walk.
But, I think that the Cowboys are my favorite surprise team this year. Their beautiful, country landscape has me completely enchanted.

In my last move my movers packed a broken smoke detector! You can guess how excited I was to unpack that thing in my new apartment.
