Birthday boy(s)

Christian Diving Board

Today Christian turns ten-years-old. I don’t know how I ended up with such a kid; he’s smarter, sweeter, and more amazing than I could ever hope to be. I love him more than blogs can say.

Happy birthday, kiddo!

(And just to prove how underwhelming I am as a parent, I’d like to apologize for failing to bloglicly acknowledge Max’s fifth birthday last month. I am equally smitten with that boy, who just last night was asking Ryan where the stars are and if he could get to them with a ladder. Swoon.)

    Happy Birthday Christian!

I love the sequence. It starts off so promising, as if a flip or spin is commencing. In fact, it is an amazing and highly entertaining belly flop.

Love those summer pictures. I could totally relate. I sort of feel like thats how my life is going right now. It’s a big huge giant belly flop. But who cares… Its summer right? Perfect, warm, carefree days. It’s time to enjoy even the belly flops.
