Ryan’s interview at the University of Delaware on Monday went well. He liked them a lot. They liked him a lot. The job has some pretty attractive perks.
The campus is really beautiful and the area is very nice. Here’s a glimpse of one of the lovely red-brick buildings.
We flew home last night, writing a list of pros and cons on a sheet of paper regarding the jobs he’s interviewed for. Tonight he flies out to Missoula for his interview at the University of Montana. He’s already homesick and he hasn’t left yet.
Good thing all of this commotion isn’t going on during the busiest time of the year. I’ve yet to put out one single Christmas decoration. My hope is to return our household to some sense of normalcy right away, which is another way of saying that I want to go get some happy meals and watch the Bravo channel.

I think the California job would be the greatest still!! Remember the warmth? Remember the sun? Remember the beach? The shopping? The shows? Remember the goodness?

I’m with you on the holiday procrastination. I managed to get a tree over the weekend and I still haven’t had a chance to decorate it. It’s just one naked douglass fir in the middle of the living room.
That is a beautiful picture. I don’t envy the decision-making that you have to go through, but I’m glad you have great options!
Pro’s and Con’s lists are good. Looks like a beautiful place. Looks like there is more space than I thought there would be. In my minds eye the whole east coast is wall to wall people like a New York city sidewalk during rush hour. The time breaks you said that Ryan would have each year would maybe allow a visit atleast once a year.
