Speaking as one who has foolishly taken on this very job, WAY TO GO! It is AWESOME! The hardwood floors really are beautiful. I’m pretty sure that I will NEVER refinish hardwood floors again, but the results really are fabulous! I’m proud of you, and I feel strangely bonded to you (we have the same kind of home improvement scar.)

wow! I have no idea why the 70s (I’m guessing here) resulted in so many home owners covering up great hardwood floors with pea green and baby blue shag. Rugs are so much easier to switch out! Impressive work.
