The best and worst of my twenty-eigth year

February 18th, 2006

Best:
1. Johnny Cash and Anna Nalick
2. Going to Market Street with Val & Heidi and connecting with our inner muppets.
3. Nacho nights
4. Tucking Christian in at night. Two nights ago he said, “I think that my hair is probably my most valuable asset.”
5. My discovery of “The Office” and a reason to watch TV again.
6. “Take Five” candybars.
7. Ryan washing my car.
8. Walking around our neighborhood at night.
9. Having a two year-old that doesn’t talk yet.
10. New and improved tennants.
11. Spooning with Ryan in the sub-zero bedroom.
12. Vancouver, BC
13. All that stuff I ate last year.
14. All that time we spent yakking.
15. When Alison heard the still, small voice of Oprah in her head.
16. The WBWG meetings
17. Propel fitness water
18. Red Bull smoothies
19. Disneyland with my boys
Worst:
1. Being tired ALL the time.
2. Being asked, “How much longer until Ryan graduates?”
3. The December 2005 gas bill.
4. Being cold after the December 2005 gas bill.
5. Driving home in rush hour.
6. Having a two year-old that doesn’t talk yet.
7. Realizing the Nick & Jessica rumors were true, after all.
8. Watching the news.
9. The day I tried to order Greek Souvlaki, but it wasn’t there anymore.
10. Six-wipe dirty diapers

i love it. i, too, experienced the december gas bill. and my efforts have been useless for i experienced the december gas bill in january and now in february. the funny thing is, is that i thought that freezing my butt off the past two months would help the bill to go down or at least not go up. it went up and has stayed up. i love the gas company.
